History

In 1991 the autorities of Kuala Lumpur wants to be a modern city, and have an economy central zone, and he want a emblematic structure, and the winner was the Petron Towers. He does a contest of arquitecture companyies to chose the model, and it win the Pelli & Associates arquitecture company. The towers were finished in 1997, and it was inagurated in 1999.
